A Beautiful Sunset and My Little Boy Caught In The Middle Of It :)

This photo was also taken on Monday night when I met
my friend Erin to photograph her. It seems that every
time I get together with Erin to take pictures, we get
really lucky. I'm sure you have seem the picture of Erin
and the rainbow on my website. (if not check it out
http://www.photographybyjt.com/) Pure luck every
single time. I was also with Erin when I took the photo
of the utility towers under the Fun Stuff section on my
site. I think she brings me photographic good luck!
I loved this photo of my son. I just wanted to post it
because I loved the colors, and it will be a picture that
I treasure for a lifetime :)

My Beautiful Blue-Eyed Friend Erin :)

On Monday evening, I went with my friend Erin who is also a photographer to Gibson Ranch in Elverta. I have to say that Erin has been a great supporter of my work, and is a great model! She was such a trooper, and helped to give me some really great ideas. She even climbed a tree, and almost got stuck all in the name of creativity!! I loved so many of the pictures that I got of her the other night. I have to give her a lot of credit for the poses. She is a great coach and mentor to me. Thanks Erin for always being there for me, and building my confidence when I didn't have any! :)

Adorable Little "R"

On Wednesday I got to photograph 7 year old "R." She is an absolute cutie! Her dad took her out to Nordstrom Rack to buy her a new dress just for our shoot. She told me all about her day. Now I know that her favorite Jamba Juice flavor is Banana Berry. I also learned that her 3 year old brother is "Crazy!" as she puts it. She talked my ear off the whole time! I loved her big brown eyes and how they played off the color of her dress. I hope to get a chance to photograph "R" in the future! :)

The Cutest Little Guy!

So today I got to take photos of little 3 month old Christian. He is so amazing. He has the best disposition, and is a very happy baby. He was a great little model for me, and I can't wait to show his parents the great pictures that we got of him today. I look forward to watching this little guy grow up over the years, and hope that I get the chance to photograph him again in the future!:)

Need To Cherish The Little Things In Life :)

I know I haven't posted in a few days! I work my day job during the week, and I get extremely busy. But, it is almost the weekend, and I have two shoots planned. Sunday I am going to take pictures of little man Christian. He is about 2 months old now, and I am really excited to get some great pictures with him and his mom. His mom is a friend of mine from work. Later in the afternoon on Sunday I am going to meet my friend Erin out at Gibson Ranch. She is also a photographer, and we have been trying to get together for some time to go out and play! She is going to do some headshots of me, and I am going to do pics of her! I am super excited, and have tons of cool ideas for us!
I decided to post these pictures because it really shows what I love to capture in my photography. I really just want to create a moment in time that parents will always remember. Soon, children will be too big to pick up, or too busy to do the little things in life. These days we don't pay much attention to our children playing. So many kids are now so engrossed in their video games or texting, that you don't see them explore or enjoy just playing outside with nature.
One of these photos, Ava is building a castle with sticks in the sand. Another, she was playing with my son Sean's remote control car. And the last one, she was playing on the monkey bars while her mom held her up! We need to remember these precious moments! :)

Little Miss "Diva" Ava!

Today I got to take pictures of Little Miss Ava. She is absolutely adorable!! I had such a fun time following her around the park listening to all of her cute little words. She loved to swing, and I LOVE the picture that I was able to capture of her mom pushing her and counting to 3 on the swing! This shot to me is priceless, and even when I caught it, I showed it to her mom and she gave me a big hug! That is the best reward after a shoot; knowing that the parents are going to treasure it for a lifetime! I love what I am doing, and can't wait to keep on capturing memories for years to come! :)

A Very Relaxing Mother's Day!

I had an absolute wonderful Mother's Day this year! I got to have a lovely brunch with my family in Manteca. My cousin has 3 beautiful daughters that love to have their picture taken. I really love the black and white of the youngest one with her dad in the hammock. Even the dog Abner had a relaxing day!! The kids had tons of fun doing the Slip-n-Slide, while the adults got to visit.
I also got some quiet time in the hammock! Boy, do I need one of those for my backyard! I hope all the Mothers out there had a great day as well!!! :)

My Session With Fussy Little James!

Today I had the pleasure of photographing little James Kenji. Boy does this little guy have a set of lungs on him. I love the picture of his mom holding him and smiling when he is crying. She says that he cries a lot, and she is so used to it by now. James is now 2 months old, and is absolutely adorable. We did manage to get some pretty good shots after he had eaten and decided that he wanted to talk to his mom.
How about those chubby little cheeks. :)
I hope that all the moms out there have a fabulous Mother's Day tomorrow. I love that I get to create lasting memories for all moms, and hope to create them for many years to come!!!

One of my favorite pictures!

Ok, so I know that I haven't posted in a few days. Real world job keeping me busy during the week. Now that the weekend is here it is time to play! I am taking pictures tomorrow of my friends 2 month old little boy in the early afternoon. In the later afternoon I am taking pictures of another friends 3 year old little girl! I am definately ready to get that camera out!

I will be sure to post after the sessions to update on all the fun! I am also looking forward to visiting with family on Mother's Day! :)

I wanted to post this picture because it is one of my favorites. My son Sean LOVES our cat Jackson! They have a really great relationship, and boy does Jackson tollerate Sean's abuse! This photo really shows how much these two love each other!!!

Time with my son Sean at Gibson Ranch :)

My son Sean and I took a trip to Gibson Ranch in Elverta today. He wanted to take pictures with his new camera, and he chose the place. Unfortunately, his camera is a piece of crap, so he didn't get to take pictures with me, but he rode his bike all around the park instead. This place is absolutely gorgeous, and I plan to use this park as a resource quite often for my portrait sessions. It's great for kids, families, and portraits. I'm really excited about all the different ideas for portraits that this place has to offer! :)

My Session with Little Dominic

Today I had the pleasure to photograph little 3 week old Dominic. He is an absolute LOVE! He was talking to me throughout the entire session, and only started to fuss towards the end because he was tired. I was there for 2 hours, and he was awake the entire time. It seems that every time I photograph newborns, they do not want to sleep for me! I think they know that something is going on and they don't want to miss any of the fun!

It was an absolute joy to be able to photograph this beautiful little boy! Congrats to his family:)

It is now 4o'clock in the morning on Saturday. My website is done! I am so excited. Please be sure to leave me comments on my blog so I can keep track of who is visiting. Tomorrow I have a session with little Dominic. He is 3 weeks old, and I am looking forward to getting some great shots. All my fun stuff is packed for the journey to his house. I will be sure to post a picture from the session later on this evening! Off to bed, FINALLY! :)
